#PhilippineMarket: Peso-dollar rate & stocks update
The Philippine peso–US dollar exchange rate at the Philippine Dealing and Exchange Corporation (PDEX) closed at P50.36, slightly weaker than Monday’s (March 13) rate at P50.32.
At the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reference exchange rate bulletin, the exchange rate settled at P50.29 to the greenback.
On the other hand, the Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) increased, gaining 28.66 points (0.40%) to close at 7,261.75.
The all-shares index also rose by 4.32 points (0.10 %) to 4,383.33.
